E-Mentoring-Coaching SMEs: A Case Study |
E-mentoring/coaching now stands in its own right as a different kind of development process from face-to-face mentoring/coaching. This trend will continue as more programs will use it, not as a poor relation, but for its advantages such as: of being time and space independent, offering the time for reflection for both the mentee/coachee and the mentor/coach; being a vehicle for creating a more level playing field with respect to power and retaining a permanent electronic record for subsequent analysis and reflection.
