Ruth Garrett is the Managing Director of Integral Coaching and Meditation, assisting leaders and organizations to achieve strategic aims and objectives, while aligning those endeavours to the goals and aspirations of the people involved.
For the past 17 years, Ruth has been an organizational behaviour and change consultant, as well as a coach, mentor and facilitator assisting organizations in turning their strategic goals into operational excellence. She has worked with a wide range of clients in the corporate, retail, manufacturing, public and education sectors to resolve issues and facilitate in challenges, which, in the past, hindered their goal of realizing the highest levels of bottom line growth.
As a consultant, who in the past grew a consultancy to 125 clients, Ruth recognizes the challenges an organization and its individuals face when growing an organization to its highest potential. Ruth is well known for her empathic and pragmatic approach to any issue or challenge, as well as for her energetic, proactive and experienced laser focus to these challenges and drawing out the best possible solutions.
Ruth lives in the Toronto area near her two grown sons and their families. She is active in her community as a member of an advisory committee to the local council pertaining to the upkeep and development of local recreational trails. Ruth is also a board member of Breaking Down Barriers a not-for-profit organization promoting accessibility and integration for all members of society, no matter what their level of physical or mental capabilities may be.
In 2006, Ruth co-authored "Mentoring in Action: A Practical Guide for Managers" (Kogan Page Limited).
